Shatterhand

Ian Fleming would have been 100 years old in 2008 when Constellation Studios started work this film. Its title is from a great Fleming character’s name that has never been used before in the great movie saga :

SHATTERHAND

"They were so happy to do Shamelady"

Following a wave of enthusiasm among and outside the Shamelady crew, the latter has decided to renew the experience and has launched the production of a new James Bond 007 adventure. This time, the film is our way to celebrate that Ian Fleming’s hundredth birthday.

The plot stays close to Fleming’s litterary works and is derived from both the short story Octopussy and the last third of the novel You Only Live Twice, but it also includes an original Alpine pre-credit sequence and an explosive action finale.

This new ambitious production aims at entertaining Internet and Convention audiences. This is a not for profit production.

Ian Lancaster Fleming (1908-1964)

The story of this new James Bond tribute — with a projected forty-minute running time — was written by Eric Saussine in December 2006.

During the first half of 2007, he amended the script with strong input from Pierre Rodiac and Frederique Remy.

During the Winter of 2007 the crew started shooting a ski chase and a fight sequence in the French Alps but this was not announced on any of the specialised web sites. The team was composed of Serge Rotelli (James Bond), Philippe Crave, Olivier Crave and even Eric Saussine who also has a small part. Constellation Studios is particularly grateful to Philippe and Olivier who jumped onboard at the last minute after the actors originally planned gave us an unexpected raincheck.

Shatterhand was formally announced at the end of May 2007 while we were getting ready for the Summer 2007 main shoot organised by Pierre Rodiac and Philippe Crave. Pierre will be hosting the crew and serve as our location scout on the French Riviera and Philippe, a real life First Assistant Director, will act as our Production Supervisor.

After shorter filming episodes and a lenghty post production period the film is released in December 2012, just in time to celebrate James Bond’s 50th movie anniversary.

SHATTERHAND : SYNOPSIS

James Bond’s former climbing instructor agent Hannes Oberhauser is dead. James Bond goes after his murderer, Major Dexter Smythe, an active MI6 agent and a traitor. Bond finds the Major who gives him some information on Blofeld. As a reward, 007 spares Dexter Smythe a shameful return to England by giving him the choice of an honourable death. As for Blofeld, Bond’s nemesis has presumably died in Japan in a mysterious Garden of Death cared for by its singular owner, Doctor Guntram Shatterhand...

James Bond flies to Japan to solve this conundrum.
