The band was born in the late nineties. Bass player Joseph was one of its founders. In 2002 Gilles became the band’s titular guitar player and the first album entitled "Tâches de son" was recorded in May. It was followed by a national tour of the French FNAC cultural shops and concerts at the famous Réservoir and La Scène. In November 2005, a second album was recorded. Its title was "Ex Poisson". In 2007 the band evolved with the arrival of singer Ritchie in January and drummer Remy in June. Les Figurants shot a video from the second album track "Paradis Parallèle". After filming, the band got a new drummer, Bob, in February 2008 and it soared to new heights of musical creation. The Paradis Parallèle video clip is available on Youtube and on the MySpace page of the band.
